The Madera 20-30 toy fund was started by an Active member of Madera 20-30 named Randy Tordini. Randy Tordini and a few friends started the fund by first taking their children's old toys and donating them to local charities and soon after they began purchasing new toys and gathering donations.

Randy started the Christmas basket, by seeking from friends, family and business owners a donation and then would take the donations and buy the toys and donate them to the local charity. Randy being the ring leader and the one with the most effort in gathering donations and always looking forward to the gathering of gifts for the ones that needed it the most during the holiday season.

Sadly Randy Tordini passed away in 1994. Since his passing a few friends decided to remember Randy every year buy collecting donations in Randy's name. Calling it the" Randy Tordini Memorial Toy fund". Mr. Dave Loquaci, David Gill, Vince Galassi, Norman Harbison, Bill Prosperi, and Chuck Ware, called "The Collecting Committee" carried on this tradition until the year 2000.

The year 2001 Madera 20-30 was proudly given the honor to run the toy fund in Randy's name. Each year it grows in funding and anticipation of helping those in need during the holiday season just like are fellow 20-30 member Randy Tordini would have wanted.
